Our invention is a method and apparatus for reproducing and exposing images from any digital or analogue media on to 35mm or any gauge motion picture film in normal or anamorphic format or any size still film format with fully automated system of frame advancing, a reverse-telecine process for creation of digital intermediate for motion pictures or still film use. An image is exposed by a 35mm or any other gauge motion picture film camera or still camera, along the optical axis of the high-resolution digital display system. The exposing system is operable to permit image sequence to be reproduced and then exposed at a high rate(less than 1 second) of speed, while simultaneously monitoring using clone display with computer control. It also has built-in automated frame advancing facility for both digital image as well as negative film in the camera gate. Its also has facility for display of frame count in manual or automated modes.
