PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dihalopropene compound having insecticidal activity and useful as an excellent insecticide. ;SOLUTION: This dihalopropene compound is represented by formula I [R₁ is a 1-10C alkyl, etc.; R₂, R₃ and R₄ are each independently a halogen, a 1-3C haloalkyl, etc.; R₅, R₆ and R₇ are each independently H, trifluoromethyl, etc.; L is C=W, etc.; X is each independently Cl, Br, etc.; Y is O, NH, etc.; Z is O, S, etc.; (m) is an integer of 0-4; (n) is an integer of 0-2], e.g. 3,5-dichloro-4-(3- aminopropyloxy)-1-(3,3-dichloro-2-propenyloxy)benzene.
