A system for providing a user with information to enhance the user's learning and development comprises: a server means (6) connected to a communications network (8), the server means (6) having memory means (12), processing means (10), and data storage means (14);processing terminal means (3,4,5,7) connected to the communication network (8) for accessing the server means (6);wherein computer program means stored in the memory means (12) of the server means (6) searches information sources for the information, the information sources is linked to the communications network (8) and wherein the information is relevant to the user based on user profile data; the user profile data includes user psychometric profile data and user personal profile data and user electronic storage means for the user into which the information is forwarded for presentation to and accessible by the user.
