1. A device for assessing fleshiness and classifying pig carcasses. It contains a measuring strip with a slit, containing a measuring slider equipped with a tip, fixed to a mobile bush, which is connected to a converter of linear displacement. The converter is located in the housing of the measuring strip and connected to the fleshiness meter. It is characterised in that the slit (2) in the measuring strip (1) is located at the bottom of the measuring strip (1), which contains an ultrasound head (8), located at the surface of the housing (6) of the measuring strip (1), which comes into contact with a carcass. It is also connected to the fleshiness meter.
