METHOD FOR PREVENTION AND CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT OF LYMPHOSTASIS AND POSTMASTECTOMY SYNDROME

The method for prevention and conservative treatment of lymphostasis and postmastectomy syndrome comprises the therapeutic exercises for the upper limbs and the prescription of the drugs improving peripheral blood and lymph circulation, microcirculation and rheologic properties of the blood, the massage, and the periodical elevation of the limb throughout the day. The therapeutic exercises are performed once a day in the evening prior to douche and massage after the discharge from the hospital. The drugs improving peripheral blood and lymph circulation, microcirculation and rheologic properties of the blood are used starting from the third postoperative day for 10-14 days and later periodically the course is repeated one time in three months. The self-massage with the aid of ball-hedgehog is performed, and after the massage the limb is elevated.
