METHOD FOR SELECTING TREATMENT TACTICS IN ABDOMINAL HYPERTENSION

The method for selecting the treatment tactics in abdominal hypertension consists in the indirect assessment of the intraperitoneal pressure followed by the postoperative conservative or surgical treatment. Postoperatively, the intraperitoneal pressure is assessed each 6 hours. The pressure below 20 cm of water without the features of the organ insufficiency suggests the conservative measures. When the pressure exceeds 20-30 cm of water, the surgical decompression of the peritoneum is indicated.
