The method for estimating the quality of the environment and the risk of increased morbidity due to the exposure to the adverse environmental factors comprises the assessment of the contamination of the separate environmental compartments followed by the calculation of the morbidity increment due to such exposure. First, the level of contamination due to the separate chemicals and the physical factors is assessed. Then the overall index of the cumulative contamination of the different areas is calculated followed by the calculation of the morbidity increment due to the exposure to the adverse environmental factors in the contaminated areas.
