METHOD FOR APPLYING RADIOFREQUENCY CURRENT IN CATHETER TREATMENT OF REENTRY TACHYCARDIA OF AV NODE

The method for applying the radiofrequency current in the catheter treatment of reentry tachycardia of AV node consists in detecting by X-ray reference points the area near the ostium of the coronary sinus with specific spectrogram (the area of "the slow pathway"). The radiofrequency current is applied continuously with increasing intensity until the temperature of 60?C. When the "rhythm of stimulation" of AV node appears and upon each successive increase in intensity (the attainment of higher temperature in the destruction electrode or the increase in the exposure time), the application of the current is interrupted. The state of the anterograde conductivity is assessed in sinus rhythm.
