VOLTAGE-CONTROLLED OSCILLATOR HAVING A BQNDPASS FILTERABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) having a bandpass filter includes an oscillationcircuit and a bandpass filter. The oscillation circuit outputs a first oscillation frequencywith a harmonic distortion according to a tuning voltage. The first oscillation frequency isthen input to the bandpass filter and the harmonic distortion of the first oscillationfrequency is filtered. Therefore, a second oscillation frequency without the harmonicdistortion is output from the bandpass filter. The invention is characterized by that thebandpass filter that removes the harmonic distortion from the VCO.[Fig. 2]
