The method comprises the steps of a) arranging first transport means (1) in motion of filled bags (2); b) provide means for limiting the oscillation amplitude of suspended bags (2); c) carry out a first transfer of bags (2) from the first means of transport (1) to a second means of transport (3) having a predetermined path parallel to that of the first means of transport (1); disposing in said path weighing means (34); e) perform for each bag (2) a plurality of weighings; f) obtain a value of the weight of the bag (2) by algorithmic calculation applied to the set of tolls of the bag (2); and g) carry out a second transfer of the bag (2) from the second means of transport (3) to the first means of transport (1).
