porous structure biodegradable and biocompatible characterized by a substantially continuous polymer phase with a highly interconnected size open pore comprising large open pores rounded with a diameter of 50 to 500 microns and small rounded pores with a size less bimodal distribution 20 microns, where said small pores are aligned in an orderly linear fashion within the walls of the large pores.
