The set of antimony-oxide-based solid electrolytes has the general formula Sry-xMxSb2-yO3 with y = 1.5-1.55, x = 0-1 and M = Mg, Ca, Ba. The anionic oxygen conductors have good thermal and chemical stability at up to 1500 degrees C, and can be used in SOFC target fuel cells.
