The method involves placing a motor vehicle on a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt is moved on stations. Elements of the vehicle are extracted from contaminants such as a battery, a catalyst, fluids and brakes. Wheels, glasses and mirrors are subjected to recycling process. The vehicle is removed directly or after crushing reusable parts. The stations are provided with a decontamination collection tank for performing waste treatment or recovery process.
