A system for inserting injection fluid into a stream of hydrocarbon fluidflowing through a wellbore formed in an earth formation is provided. The systemcomprises a production conduit (11) for conveying said stream of hydrocarbonfluid through the wellbore to the earth surface, said conduit being provided withat least one valve chamber (15) which is suitable to receive a retrievable valvebody (19) therein, said valve body including a valve (25) which is controllablevia an electric circuit connected to surface control equipment so as to movethe valve between an open position thereof whereby the valve provides fluidcommunication between said stream and a fluid injection channel extendingin the wellbore, and a closed position thereof whereby the valve prevents fluidcommunication between said stream and said fluid injection channel. The electriccircuit comprises an inductive coupler including a primary coil (29) provided atthe production conduit and a secondary coil (31) provided at the valve body.
