ELECTROCHROMIC MEDIA WITH CONCENTRATION-ENHANCED STABILITY, PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION THEREOF AND USE IN ELECTROCHROMIC DEVICES

Increased stability of electrochromic devices containing an electrochromicmedium having two or more electroactive compounds isaccomplished by establishing current limiting concentrations of electroactivecompounds with the larger redox potential difference. A processfor production of electrochromic devices uses targeted concentrations ofelectroactive materials during preparation of the electrochromicmedium which results in substantially no devices being produced wherein thecurrent is limited by an electroactive compound having a lowredox potential difference.
