A METHOD FIR ASSESSING A SITE'S SUITABILITY FOR HAVING ITS HOUSES MANUFACTURED IN A HOUSE MANUFACTURING FACTORY

A method for assessing, with respect to a proposed subdivision or otherproject, the suitability ofhaving its houses factory built, in whole or in part, by identifying thosespecific elements whosepresence or absence is critical to the viability of the project and rejectingthe project from furtherconsideration if it has at least one failed critical element or if the projecthas no failed criticalelements, identifying those cost elements which are materially different asbetween stick buildingand factory building with respect to the project in question, and for eachsuch cost element,determining the stick building cost and the factory building cost andcalculating the differencebetween them, calculating the "sum of the cost differences" by adding togetherall of the saidcalculated differences to provide a total and using the said sum of the costdifferences in determiningthe suitability of the project for having its houses factory built in whole orin part.
