Sale method and system employing product price varying dependent upon valid date of product

PURPOSE: A differential price sale method and a system according to expiration date of product are provided to enable a customer to selectively buy by making the foods within the expiration date sell at a differentially discounting price according to the time duration from a production data. CONSTITUTION: A barcode(115) including the basic information of a product is printed and attached to the products produced by a production company(100) and at the point of production, a sub-barcode including a production date is additionally printed and attached to the products. The products having the barcodes are delivered and sold at a sale/distribution company(300). The products within the expiration date are sold and distributed at a differential price, and the products approaching to the expiration date are sold at a discounting price. The products bought by a customer are calculated at the POS(Point-On-Sale) counter(400) by applying the differential prices, The counter calculates the products price by applying the differential price after reading the sub-barcode of product.
