Recombinant cells having high fibrinogen production capability are prepared by, in the incorporation of genes coding for three types of proteins constituting fibrinogen, namely, α-chain (or variant of α-chain), β-chain and Ϝ-chain (or variant of Ϝ-chain) in animal cells, causing the gene composition ratio to be such that the amount of Ϝ-chain (and/or variant of Ϝ-chain) gene is equal to or more but not exceeding 1000 times the amount of α-chain (and/or variant of α-chain) gene and β-chain gene and further by employing baculovirus P35 gene.
