The invention relates to a solid dispersible and orodispersible instantly releasing pharmaceutical composition which is present in a aqueous medium in the form of particles whose shape is less than 710 νm, contains at least one type of metformin active substance and is characterised in that it comprises: a) 65-90 mass % metformin active substance possibly in the form of a salt or a combination of said metformin active substance and a hypoglycaemic active substance; b) 0.5-4 mass % binding agent or a combination of binding agents; c) 1-12 mass % disintegrator or a combination of disintegrators; d) 0-10 mass % diluting agent or a combination of diluting agents; c) 0.05-3 mass % sweetening agent or a combination of sweetening agents and f) one ore several additional excipients, the mass percentages being expressed with respect to the total mass of said composition.
