The invention relates to a derived timber product body, a mouldable derived timber product body and method for production of such a derived timber product body. The derived timber product body comprises one or more layers of strands, wetted with a binding agent system. The binding agent system comprises one or more duroplastic hardening components and contains a first duroplastic curing binding agent. The strands wetted with the binding agent system are pressed in a first stage under first temperature and pressure conditions which do not permit complete, but rather a partial curing of the first duroplastic binding agent. The mouldable derived timber product body produced as above is pressed into a given form in a second stage under temperature and pressure conditions which permit a complete curing of the first duroplastic binding agent.
