A gas turbine combustion chamber comprises a burner (7) fuel inlet and atomizer (6). The fuel injection inlet is positioned in the region of maximum air flow velocity. An Independent claim also included for a chamber as above in which the fuel injection inlet is positioned in the region of the highest local air mass stream.
