BIFOCAL LENS WITH FAR AND NEAR VISION CORRECTION POWER

A plastic bifocal lens with far and near vision correction power having a far-sightedness correction part at a part of a short-sightedness correction part to prevent dyeing irregularity, wherein a small lens (2) for far-sightedness correction is projectedly formed on the objective face of a basic lens (1) for short-sightedness correction to form a base material (3). The base material (3) is formed of a material having a refractive index of 0.10 to 1.80, and the objective face of the base material is covered by a material having a refractive index smaller than that of the base material (3) to bury the small lens (3) in a cover layer (4). Since the objective face of the bifocal lens can be made smooth, dye can be prevented from being locally accumulated in dyeing.
