COMBINED FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM HAVING WATER-SPRAYING FIRE EXTINGUISHER AND GAS-SPRAYING FIRE EXTINGUISHER USING COMMON PIPE

PURPOSE: A combined fire extinguishing system is provided to protect the life and property from fire in a more secured, effective manner by installing both a water-spraying fire extinguisher and a gas-spraying fire extinguisher using a common pipe. CONSTITUTION: The combined fire extinguishing system(1) comprises: a fire-extinguishing gas supplying unit(10) including gas storage containers(11), a gas valve(13) connected with the gas storage containers(11), and a selection valve(15); a fire-extinguishing water supplying unit(20) including a water pipe, a strainer(22), and a concurrent opening valve(23); a common pipe(30) installed in a fire area(5) to be connected with the extinguishing gas supplying unit(10) and the fire-extinguishing water supplying unit(20) and having a plurality of spraying nozzles(31) capable of spraying at least one of fire-extinguishing gas supplied from the extinguishing gas supplying unit(10) and fire-extinguishing water supplied from the fire-extinguishing water supplying unit(20); a fire detector(40) installed in the fire area(5) for detecting occurrence of a fire; a fire receiving unit(50) for controlling the selection valve(15) to be opened or shut and moving the fire-extinguishing gas to the common pipe(30) according to a signal transmitted from the fire detector(40); and a concurrent opening valve switch electrically connected with the concurrent opening valve(23) and opening or shutting the same.
