PURPOSE: A method for modifying the surface of a wiper blade and a wiper blade ion injection apparatus are provided, to improve abrasion resistance and to reduce the generation of chattering sound and friction coefficient by ion injection. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the step of injecting the ion generated at an ion source having an ion energy of 2-50 keV and generating a beam drawing current of 5-100 mA, to a wiper blade made of a rubber material. Preferably the gas injected into the ion generation part is Ar, N, Xe, Kr, O, C, Si, H, He, F or Cl. The color of a wire blade depends on the kind of ions, the ion energy, the amount of ions and the amount of ions injected per unit time. Preferably the color of a wiper blade can be changed into metallic one by replacing the ion source with a metal ion generation part.
