TURBOCHARGER SYSTEM FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, CAPABLE OF INCREASING THE FLOW RATE OF EXHAUST GAS INTO A TURBINE WHEEL WITH A GUIDE VANE AND IN INCREASING RPM OF THE ENGINE OR THE ENGINE DISPLACEMENT BY REGULATING THE RATE OF EXHAUST GAS INTO THE TURBINE WHEEL
PURPOSE: A turbocharger system for an internal combustion engine is provided to recover energy from exhaust gas efficiently in lowering rpm of the engine or the engine displacement by increasing the flow rate of exhaust gas into a turbine wheel with a guide vane and in increasing rpm of the engine or the engine displacement by regulating the rate of exhaust gas into the turbine wheel. CONSTITUTION: A turbocharger system for an internal combustion engine comprises a turbine housing(29) having an exhaust gas inflow passage(31) flowing exhaust gas of the engine in; a turbine wheel(27) turned by exhaust gas flowing into the turbine housing and installed in the turbine housing; a compressor driven by the turbine wheel to compress air flowing into the engine; a guide vane(35) installed in the turbine housing around the turbine wheel to increase the tangential flow rate of exhaust gas by guiding direction of exhaust gas for the turbine wheel; an exhaust gas bypass passage(39) detouring the turbine housing from the exhaust gas inflow passage; a control valve assembly(41) regulating the opening rate of the exhaust gas inflow passage and the exhaust gas bypass passage to regulate the rate of exhaust gas flowing into the turbine wheel; and a control unit outputting the driving signal to control operation of the control valve assembly.
