摘要

PURPOSE: Structure of a separable camshaft for deactivation of a cylinder is provided to simplify the structure of parts by assembling and disassembling the main camshaft from the auxiliary camshaft for deactivation of the specific cylinder, and to improve the reliability by reducing mass and friction. CONSTITUTION: A first cam(2) and a fourth cam(3) are formed at both ends of a main camshaft(1), and a narrow part(4) having a small diameter is formed in the middle of the camshaft. An auxiliary camshaft(5) is turned and installed in the narrow part, and composed of a second cam(6) and a third cam(7). An assembling unit(10) is formed in the border of the main camshaft and the auxiliary camshaft and operated by hydraulic pressure for deactivation of the auxiliary camshaft by selectively assembling the main camshaft with the auxiliary camshaft. A hydraulic pressure supply passage(8) is formed in the main camshaft to supply hydraulic pressure from an oil hole(20) to the assembling unit.
