JOINING STRUCTURE OF SPLIT-TYPE VEHICLE BODY FRAME, WHEREIN END OF PRESS TYPE FRAME AND END OF HYDRO-FORMING TYPE FRAME ARE JOINED THROUGH MUTUAL WELDING

PURPOSE: A joining structure of a split-type vehicle body frame is provided to improve the joining strength of a joining part of the split-type vehicle body frame by connecting a hydro-forming type frame and a press type frame by a square connection frame and joining the hydro-forming type frame and the press type frame through arc welding. CONSTITUTION: In a joining structure of a split-type vehicle body frame, the end of a press type frame(20) constituting a portion of the split-type vehicle body frame and the end of a hydro-forming type frame(10) constituting the rest of the split-type vehicle body frame are joined through mutual welding. Elliptic welding holes(12,22) are each formed in the sides of the ends of the hydro-forming type frame and the press type frame. A square connection frame(30) of a steel material is inserted in the ends of the hydro-forming type frame and the press type frame in a state of mutually interconnecting the ends of the hydro-forming type frame and the press type frame. The elliptic welding holes of the hydro-forming type frame and the press type frame coming in contact with the square connection frame are each joined by arc welding and then a contact portion of the hydro-forming type frame and the press type frame is joined by arc welding.
