PURPOSE: A drainage freezing preventing device of an outdoor unit for an air conditioner is provided to prevent drainage from being frozen and to smoothly drain fluid by bypassing some of high-temperature refrigerant flowing from an indoor device and a compressor into an outdoor heat exchanger and flowing the refrigerant along a refrigerant freezing preventing pipe. CONSTITUTION: A drainage freezing preventing device of an outdoor unit(1) for an air conditioner is composed of a casing(10) with a base plate(11) having a drainage way(12) formed along the edge and a plurality of drain holes(13) penetrating the bottom side of the drainage way; a plurality of outdoor heat exchangers(40) arranged in an inner opening region of the casing along the side of the drainage way of the base plate and formed with a supercooling unit for supercooling the refrigerant flowing from an indoor device; and a freezing prevention unit for preventing the drainage from being frozen by bypassing some of the high-temperature refrigerant flowing into the outdoor heat exchanger along the drainage way.
