The development of the utility software based on refrigerants thermophysical properties database KITS - The development of the software for the freezing and air conditioner machine design

Authors have developed a refrigerants thermophysical properties database KITS for the purpose of the development of the new refrigerants and the evaluation of the air-conditioning cycles and refrigeration cycles. KITS has the function set such as mixing various refrigerants freely, computing and drawing a thermodynamics diagram such as P-h diagram, T-s diagram and a thermodynamics table, evaluating the performance of refrigerant and refrigerants mixture, cycle simulation. In the present situation when refrigerant and refrigerants mixture have been converged in a few ones by the purpose, authors are proceeding with the development of the software to assist the design of refrigerator, air-conditioner, and heat conveying machine and performance evaluation which can be used by the easy operation at present. Capabilities of this software, specification of design and progress condition are reported.
