SCROLL COMPRESSOR WITH FIXED SCROLL COMBINED WITH UPSIDE OF ORBITING SCROLL AND ENGAGED WITH ORBITING SCROLL FOR COMPRESSING REFRIGERANT

PURPOSE: A scroll compressor is provided to hold axial load and to function as an existing Oldham's coupling by integrating the Oldham's coupling for repressing rotation of an orbiting scroll revolving in a fixed scroll through the rotation of a driving shaft and a thrust bearing. CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor is composed of a closed container forming an outer case; a driving motor fixed in the closed container and driven by electrical actions of a stator and a rotor; a driving shaft rotated by the driving motor; a main frame fixed in the closed container to support the driving shaft; an orbiting scroll positioned at the upside of the main frame and driven and orbited by an eccentric unit formed at the upper end of the driving shaft; a fixed scroll combined with the upside of the orbiting scroll and engaged with the orbiting scroll to compress refrigerant; and a thrust bearing(60) interposed between the orbiting scroll and the main frame to support axial load and composed of upper and lower keys(62,64) arranged at the upper and lower sides to prevent rotation of the orbiting scroll and a plurality of oil grooves(66) formed on one or both sides at the predetermined length to smoothly flow in the oil supplied from the inside of the main frame and form an oil level.
