RAINWATER ABSORBING APPARATUS OF UMBRELLA HAVING IMPROVED ABSORPTION EFFICIENCY AND USE CONVENIENCE BY EMPLOYING BOTH NATURAL DRAIN MECHANISM AND FORCED DRAIN MECHANISM

PURPOSE: Provided is a rainwater absorbing apparatus of an umbrella which has an improved absorption efficiency and use convenience by employing both a natural drain mechanism using a nonwoven fabric and an absorbent and a forced drain mechanism using an absorption fan. CONSTITUTION: The rainwater absorbing apparatus of an umbrella comprises: absorption boxes(10,20), for a long umbrella and a short umbrella, the absorption boxes(10,20) each including an absorption unit having an umbrella rib inserting section, heating elements, and a nonwoven fabric, a pipe having multiple throughholes, an absorbent filled into a space between the pipe and the absorption unit, and a drain pipe(14) allowing rainwater collected at a lower portion of the absorption boxes(10,20) to be naturally drained to a water tank(40); a discharge pipe(12) connected with the absorption boxes(10,20), for discharging rainwater out together with air; an absorption fan(30) connected with the discharge pipe(12), for inducing air and rainwater; a solenoid valve(70) installed on the discharge pipe(12), for intermitting the current of the air and rainwater induced into the absorption fan(30); first and second sensors(50,60) for controlling the operation of the absorption fan(30) and the solenoid valve(70); and an absorption tank(16) having a predetermined space installed along the passage of the discharge pipe(12) between each of the absorption boxes(10,20) and the solenoid valve(70).
