MOBILE TERMINAL FOR SUPPORTING GSM/GPRS AND TD-SCDMA, PARTICULARLY FOR ACCOMMODATING A MULTI-MODE BY MAKING AN RF PART ON-CHIP AND REDUCING THE SIZE OF A MOBILE TERMINAL BY REDUCING THE NUMBER OF COMPONENTS
PURPOSE: A mobile terminal for supporting GSM(Global System for Mobile Communications)/GPRS(General Packet Radio Service) and TD-SCDMA(Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access), particularly for accommodating a multi-mode by making an RF part on chip and reducing the size of a mobile terminal by reducing the number of components, is provided to enhance transmission power efficiency and receive sensitivity by implementing a band pass filtering function. CONSTITUTION: A reception GSM/GPRS RF module(20) supports an RF mode of a GSM signal inputted through an antenna. A reception TD-SCDMA RF module(40) supports an RF mode of a TD-SCDMA signal inputted through the antenna. A transmission GSM/GPRS RF module(30) supports an RF mode for a baseband signal of GSM/GPRS inputted from a modem chip(10). A transmission TD-SCDMA RF module(50) supports an RF mode for a baseband signal of TD-SCDMA inputted from the modem chip(10). An SP4T(Single Pole 4 Throw) switch switches a signal received through the antenna according to the GSM/GPRS and TD-SCDMA mode in a reception mode, and outputs an RF-processed transmission signal through the antenna according to the GSM/GPRS and TD-SCDMA mode in a transmission mode. An SPDT(Single Pole Double Throw) switch switches the RF-processed transmission signal according to the GSM/GPRS and TD-SCDMA mode in the transmission mode.
