PURPOSE: An airtight showcase for displaying cultural assets is provided to safely protect cultural assets and easily perform checking and replacing the cultural assets. CONSTITUTION: The airtight showcase having a lower case(1), a display case(2) and an upper glass door(3) comprises: a work space section(16) formed opened forward at the lower side of a top plate part(12) of the lower case; a locking device check door disposed openable and closeable to the bottom surface of the top plate part for maintaining and repairing a locking device; a lower case check door; and both gas protection rackets mounted in left and right side walls(27,28) of the showcase(2) so as to project upward, the lower end thereof being hinged to a lower bracket and the upper end being hinged to an upper bracket.
