PURPOSE: A leg lock nut for a household appliance is provided to easily unloosen and tighten the lock nut to make actuating force from a hand or a tool transmitted excellently in unloosening or tightening the lock nut via improvement of the lock nut. CONSTITUTION: A leg lock nut(1) for a household appliance comprises a leg screwed to a base arranged to the lower part of the household appliance and the lock nut combined to a thread part of the leg and fastened to be compressed to the base when the positioning of the leg to the base is completed, to fix the position of the leg. The lock nut comprises a hub part(100) having a thread formed to the inner peripheral surface; plural support ribs(110) extended toward the radial outside from the outer peripheral surface of the hub part; and connection faces(120) connecting the support ribs and having spaces to the upper and lower parts of the face.
