PURPOSE: A compound carbon forming method for a synchronizer ring is provided to easily manufacture a ring-shaped thin compound carbon by executing a preforming process before thermoforming compound carbon powder. CONSTITUTION: A compound carbon forming method for a synchronizer ring comprises the steps of: injecting compound carbon powder(5) containing an inorganic compound into a mold; applying pressure to the injected compound carbon powder to preform a ring-shaped thin compound carbon; separating the solidified compound carbon from the mold; and inserting the separated compound carbon into a thermoforming mold. The mold includes a central mold(1) at the center, fixed molds(2) installed away from the central mold, a centering mold(3) at the lower part, and punches(4) for applying pressure to the compound carbon.
