PURPOSE: A message relay transmission method is provided to reduce an excessive cost in transmitting a message from one sender to a plurality of receivers. CONSTITUTION: When a terminal of a user receives an SMS message(201), it determines whether the received SMS message is to be transmitted in a relay manner(202). If the SMS message is to be transmitted in relay(205), contents of the relay SMS message is checked(206). When a next sender list is selected, phone numbers between a start tag and an end tag are displayed(207), and the user of the terminal determines whether to broadcast the SMS message or transmit it in a relay manner(208). If the SMS message is to be transmitted in relay, the user of the terminal transmits the SMS message in relay(210).
