STRUCTURE OF PIPE FOR REMOVING AIR BUBBLES IN BASKET TYPE FILTER IN FRONT OF CONDENSER OPERATION PUMP IN THERMOELECTRIC POWER PLANT

PURPOSE: Structure of a pipe for a power plant is provided to extend the life span of the pipe, and to reduce vibration and cleaning time of the filter by conveniently removing air bubbles from the filter. CONSTITUTION: A filter(5) in the pipe structure of a power plant is composed of a cylindrical filter body(52) inserted to a suction line in the front of a condenser operation pump and installed perpendicularly to the pipe; an inlet pipe(54) and an outlet pipe(56) penetrating the filter body in radial direction; an air bubble discharge valve(60) formed in the upper part of the filter body; and a pipe connecting part(58) formed in the end of the discharge valve, extended from the discharge port of the discharge valve and additionally connected to the pipe. Air bubbles are removed by opening the valve of the filter in charging water in the front of the pump.
