CUTTING DEVICE FOR ALUMINUM BILLET FOR REDUCING CUTTING TIME REQUIRED FOR CUTTING EACH BILLET

PURPOSE: A cutting device for an aluminum billet is provided to reduce time for cutting each billet and to increase heating time for billets in heating furnace. CONSTITUTION: A cutting device for an aluminum billet is composed of a heating furnace for heating the billet at a predetermined temperature, a cutting body installed at the outlet of the heating furnace, a clamp installed at the front of the cutting body and clamping the heated billet, a clamp cylinder installed at one side of the clamp and supplying driving force to the clamp, a cutting cylinder(240), and a differential gear unit(260) increasing/decreasing the forward speed of the cutting cylinder. The cutting cylinder presses a slider horizontally to cut the billet. The differential gear unit includes a solenoid valve(262) controlling the horizontal motion of the cutting cylinder, a pressure control valve(262) draining oil in the cutting cylinder, a shuttle valve(263) controlling the direction of flow supplied to a logic valve, and a differential solenoid valve(265) controlling the short of an operating circuit.
