The machine (1) has an individualization and transfer station (4) comprising a directing and aligning unit to direct and align wood split billets (6) to present the billets at cutting stations (2, 5) in which each wood split billet follows one another in a continuous manner before cutting. The cutting station has cutting units cutting out the wood split billets into multiple parts according to desired lengths for the firewood billets in a transverse manner. The stations are arranged successively following one another and ensuring a continuous treatment of the wood split billets.
