PURPOSE: A rooftop greening system containing creating a rooftop green surface for providing effects such as air purification, noise absorption, prevention of the heat island phenomenon in cities by the reduction of radiant heat and adding a heat treatment function to the rooftop green surface is provided. It can connect to a rainwater utilization system, thereby enabling rainwater discharged from the rooftop greening system to reutilize as domestic water by purifying. CONSTITUTION: The rooftop greening system(1) comprises: a planting layer for planting a greening tree; a soil layer disposed at the lower limit of the planting layer and mixed with a filtering mat for removing pollutants and soil as a plant growth foundation; a drainage layer disposed at the lower limit of the filtering mat; a waterproof layer disposed at the lower limit of the drainage layer for preventing moisture infiltration into the building; a guttering(2) connected to the drainage layer to be used as the pass of travel of water such as rainwater passed through the planting layer, soil layer and filtering mat; a water treatment facility for purifying water rainwater or the like flowed though the gutting; a water storage tank(5,7) for storing purified rainwater or the like; and a water feed facility.
