MULTI-CHIP MODULE FOR USE IN RECEIVER OF A MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, PARTICULARLY FOR PROVIDING A SINGLE RECEPTION MULTI-CHIP MODULE FORMED BY INTEGRATING INDIVIDUAL COMPONENT OF A RECEIVER
PURPOSE: A multi-chip module for use in a receiver of a mobile communication system is provided to facilitate designing of a terminal system by fabricating and optimizing individual components to a single part. CONSTITUTION: An LNA(Low-Noise Amplifier)(220) amplifies a small reception signal while suppressing a noise included in the signal as much as possible. A frequency mixer(240) converts the low-noise amplified signal into a frequency that can be processed. A reception filter(230) prevents transmission of an unnecessary frequency of the signal, which has been amplified in the LNA(220), to the frequency mixer(240). The first impedance matching unit(212) positioned between a transmission/reception filter(120) and an active circuit(250) transfers a signal received from the transmission/reception filter(120), to the active circuit(250) at its maximum level. The second impedance matching unit(214) positioned between the active circuit(250) and the reception filter(230) transfers a signal received from the active circuit(250), to the reception filter(230) at its maximum level. The third impedance matching unit(216) positioned between the reception filter(230) and the active circuit(250) transfers a signal received from the reception filter(230), to the active circuit(250) at its maximum level.
