PURPOSE: An anode for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery using the same are provided to prevent a reaction between a polymeric film and an anode active material and to reduce the thickness of a metal protecting layer for the polymeric film, thereby improving the process rate. CONSTITUTION: The anode for a lithium secondary battery comprises: a layer of polymeric film(1); a protecting layer(3) for the polymeric film, which is formed on the polymeric film; a metal layer(5) formed on the protecting layer; and a layer(7) of an anode active material formed on the metal layer, wherein the protecting layer for the polymeric film has a thickness of 0.01-10micrometers. The lithium secondary battery comprises the above-mentioned anode, a cathode, and electrolytes.
