SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRAINING TRANSLATOR USING BILINGUAL TEXT

PURPOSE: A system and a method for training a translator using bilingual text are provided to train the translator by using plenty of translated data with minimum expense while accuracy of the translator is kept or enhanced. CONSTITUTION: An analysis component(410) receives a source sentence(406), generates a source logical form(412) based on the source sentence, and provides the source logical form to a matching component(420). The matching component matches the source logical state with the logical forms in a transfer mapping database and generates a linked logical state(422) by generating links to replicas of corresponding target logical form segments received by transfer mapping on nodes in the source logical form. A transfer component(430) receives the linked logical form from the matching component and generates a target logical state forming basis of target translation. A generation component(440) maps target text strings from a target logical form(432) and generates a target sentence by using the information for the source language and a monolingual dictionary.
