STEEL BOX STRUCTURE INSTALLED ON A BRIDGE OR A PIER FOR EASILY REPLACING A BRIDGE SEAT

PURPOSE: A steel box structure for easily replacing a bridge seat is provided to reduce working hours by changing the bridge seat transmitting load from the upper structure to the lower structure conveniently, and to cut down manufacturing cost by removing the unnecessary ribs. CONSTITUTION: A steel box structure(50) is installed on a bridge or a pier, and composed of an upper flange(51), a lower flange(52) and two webs(53) to form the rectangular box. A moving passage(55) is formed in the center of a diaphragm(54), and a vertical reinforcing member(56) is formed at the side of the diaphragm. Jack-up reinforcing members(57) are formed in upper and lower parts of the moving passage, and a reinforcing body(58) is combined with the moving passage to bear vertical load. The jack-up reinforcing member is connected to the upper flange and the lower flange, and the reinforcing body is composed of an upper plate(58a), a lower plate(58b) and a supporting rib(58c) between the upper plate and the lower plate.
