METHOD FOR SETTING AN ETIQUETTE MODE BY MENU OF MOBILE TERMINAL, PARTICULARLY FOR SETTING OR RELEASING AN ETIQUETTE MODE OF EACH MENU TO SATISFY USERS' VARIOUS DEMANDS

PURPOSE: A method for setting an etiquette mode by menu of a mobile terminal is provided to enhance users' convenience by allowing a user to change an etiquette mode of a currently executed menu through simple key manipulation. CONSTITUTION: When a user selects one of menus of a mobile terminal(201), a controller of the mobile terminal determines whether an etiquette mode has been set in the selected menu(202). If the etiquette mode has been set in the selected menu, corresponding information showing that the etiquette mode has been set is displayed on a display unit(203) and the mobile terminal is operated in the etiquette mode(204). It is determined whether a signal for changing the currently set mode is inputted(207). If the signal for changing the currently set mode is inputted, the mobile terminal is operated in a newly changed mode(208).
