PURPOSE: A device for displaying a Mecca position of a mobile station and a method therefor are provided to easily and promptly display the direction of Mecca to a Muslim by inputting current position information to a mobile station directly or through search. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(10) inputs current position information to a mobile station after search or directly inputs current position information to the mobile station. A control unit(20) inputs a signal of the input unit(10), and controls and monitors each function unit. A geographical name unit(30) outputs a recorded and stored geographical name by the monitoring and control of the control unit(20). A memory(40) stores and outputs position information applied from the input unit(10). A Mecca unit(50) operates the current position information with Mecca position information to output confirmed Mecca direction data. A display unit(60) displays direction of a Mecca position applied from the Mecca unit(50).
