HOME NETWORK SYSTEM, ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH APPLYING A LIVING NETWORK CONTROL PROTOCOL, AND ENABLING TRAFFIC CONTROL ON A NETWORK AND EFFICIENT USE OF RESOURCES

PURPOSE: A home network system is provided to apply an LnCP(Living network Control Protocol) in order to offer a function for the control and monitoring of home appliances and control traffic on a network by varying a transmission point of a response packet according to a receiver address of a request packet. CONSTITUTION: A network manager transmits a request packet containing a predetermined command through a network(S51). If a home appliance receives the request packet, the home appliance judges whether the receiver of the received request packet is the home appliance itself(S52). If the receiver of the received request packet is not the home appliance itself, the home appliance abandons the request packet. However, in case that the receiver of the received request packet is the home appliance itself, the home appliance executes the command included in the request packet(S53). Then the home appliance judges whether the request packet contains a node address that indicates plural receivers(S54). If the request packet contains the node address, the home appliance selects an arbitrary response delay time within the range of an appointed response delay time(S55). The home appliance waits until the selected response delay time elapses(S56). If the selected response delay time elapses, the home appliance transmits a response packet to the network manager(S57).
