APPARATUS FOR INSPECTING AN LCD GLASS TO PERFORM A MACRO INSPECTION AND A MICRO INSPECTION ON A SINGLE INSPECTION STAGE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for inspecting an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) glass is provided to improve the efficiency of an inspection process and reduce the size of the apparatus by performing both a macro inspection and a micro inspection on a single inspection stage. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for inspecting an LCD glass comprises a carrying-in conveyer(61), an inspection unit(50), and a carrying-out conveyer(62). The inspection unit includes an inspection conveyer(60), an inspection stage(53), a lighting part for macro inspection, and a microscope part(55) for micro inspection. The inspection conveyer receives the LCD glass from the carrying-in conveyer before inspection and transfers the LCD glass to the carrying-out conveyer after inspection. When the LCD glass is loaded on the inspection stage, the macro inspection of the LCD glass is performed. If necessary, the micro inspection of the LCD glass is performed on the same inspection stage.
