METHOD FOR MANAGING CONNECTION VIA ANALYSIS OF CONNECTION SPECIFICATION, E.G. LATEST CONNECTION DATE, CONNECTION FREQUENCY OR CONNECTION VOLUME

PURPOSE: A connection management method is provided to analyze basic connection specification at an interactive personal communication system, e.g. a phone, an e-mail or an internet messenger, to measure a relationship index of a person, and to extract a person with higher priority for increasing the relationship index. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. If a user terminates a connection to a person, it is checked whether the person is a management target(S2, S4). If the person is a management target, the latest connection date, a connection frequency and a connection volume are calculated(S8). Referring to the calculated connection frequency and connection volume, a relation group which the person is affiliated is adjusted(S10). Based on a weighting value of the relation group and the number of persons in the relation group, a relationship index of the person is calculated(S12).
