PURPOSE: To stably remove loads from a return-side belt and adjust serpentine motion of a reversible belt conveyor(10) by interlocking a guide roller for adjusting the serpentine motion of a carrier-side belt with scrapers for removing the loads from the return-side belt. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cleaning a reversible belt conveyor and adjusting serpentine motion is composed of a self-aligning roller stand(20) mounted rotatably under a carrier-side belt, guide rails(30) formed at both ends of the self-aligning roller stand and having an arc shape with the central point equal to the rotary center of the self-aligning roller stand, a supporting unit(42) moving along the guide rails, a guide roller(40) mounted rotatably to the supporting unit and disposed at both sides of a return-side belt, and a pair of scrapers(60A,60B). One side of each scraper is connected to the supporting unit. The other side of each scraper is installed between the carrier-side belt and the return-side belt to rotate on the middle part of the width of the belt.
